Jewish music concert “Shana Tova! Happy Jewish New Year!”
Jewish music concert “Shana Tova! Happy Jewish New Year!” took place on September 25, 2008 in the Home of Riga Jewish community. The program consisted of Jewish liturgical music, cantors’ compositions, Jewish songs and klezmer music.
Participants: Zeev Shulman, cantor of Riga Choral Synagogue, male group of youth Latvian chorus “Balsis” (director and conductor Ints Teterovskis), Riga Klezmer Band (Jury Savkin (viol), Eduard Raubishko (clarinet), Jury Kasper (piano)), Riga Piano Duo (Raffi Haradjanjan, Nora Novik), boys’ chorus of the Riga Choral Synagogue. Master of the ceremony Lev Birmanis. Art director - Zeev Shulman.
