Master-class devoted to traditional Jewish cuisine will take place on May 24, 2010 in Shamir after a long break. Nevertheless Purim has passed long ago, participants of the master-klass asked our dear Bluma to teach them to cook homentashen and Jewish eggplants. You are kinfdly welcome!

Forshmakh&lekekh

Master-class, devoted to the traditional Jewish forshmakh and lekekh takes place on January 10, 2010 at 11:00 in Association "Shamir" on Stabu 63, Riga. Verses in Yiddish, recipes by aunt Bluma, and discussions about ingredients of forshmakh are expected as well as warm atmospere and tasty self-made snacks.

Latkes, sufganiyot&Chanukah for children.

Channukah master-class, devoted to traditional Chanukah food, i.e latkes and sufganiyot, as well as potato kugel took place in Shamir on December 13, 2009.
